Utah Wedding Photographer | Aspen Grove Valentine’s Day Inspired Bridal Shoot
Snow, red roses, and a pink dress are the perfect combination for an Utah wedding photographer. This Aspen Grove Valentine’s Day inspired bridal shoot was gorgeous.
As I arrived at this location near Aspen Grove, up Provo canyon, I was astonished at how much snow there was. Snow was piled as high as the little building next to the parking lot! Getting to this spot within the trees involved a hike up a 6 foot pile of snow, not an easy task while wearing a dress, but Dani was able to do it.
We were truly shooting in a winter wonderland. The snow was softly falling throughout the entire session and made for some very dreamy images. If that wasn’t amazing enough the pink dress was stunning against the snow white backdrop.
Dani was a beautiful model and wonderful to work with. I am not quite sure how she handled the freezing mountain temperature in that dress but she did! It was pretty impressive, I’m not sure I would’ve been able to handle it.
The cherry on top was the red rose and pink carnation bouquet created by Alyssa Dalton of Poppies.Peonies.Floral. The size of the bouquet was just as stunning. I’m pretty sure Dani got a bit of an arm workout as she held up this bundle of flowers.
If you are on the lookout for a dress that is bold and turns head look no further than Ypsilon Dresses. They do an amazing job creating unique and one of a kind dresses and gowns. This pink wedding dress was created from a gorgeous, shimmery fabric and the skirt was full and twirl worthy.
Dani’s makeup was done by the talented Merrie Hansen of Merrie Makeup. She chose a beautiful red lipstick that perfectly matched the red roses in the bouquet.
This is one of the most unique winter sessions I’ve been apart of. I loved that the theme of this bridal shoot was Valentine’s day inspired. Incorporating the reds and pinks perfectly popped off the snowy mountains.
